| The Good and The Bad! So- You read and read and..........(drawn out)..read about the "Starter" companies. You know, the companies that hire any old Joe, Billy, Bob, Sally, Larry and Jerome to haul their freight around for nearly nothing all while totally screwing up a log book that was doomed from the beginning. I'm looking for a list of companies, or 2 that i can do a bit of research on while I contemplate leaving my local job for the "lifestyle" I enjoyed. Seriously though- I have some experiance, and really want to find a decent company. PS- All midwest/west coast dedicated's to NYC please feel free to respond!

| good companies there are good companies out there. I work for one. But as a rule we do not hire newer drivers. my boss has nice equiptment, older but in good shape. and he wants to keep it that way, as a result we hire drivers with over 5 yrs exp. and no mvr dings. they don't look at your dac. I know its an exception to the rule and I fell in a big pile and came out smelling good but thats the luck of the draw. If you feel like moving, send me a pm |
