Yes, it's very easy for someone sitting at a desk, who knows nothing or does not care about what you have to go through to deliver your load, to wreak havoc on your career and life. This type of person gets away with a lot because of most people's ignorance of the law.

You can start a lawsuit with as little as $10 in some states. Just be ready for all the follow-up procedures.

It's a lot cheaper for any company to settle lawsuits than to fight them.

Why do people let companies like Dac or Usis what ever they are called ruin the trucking industry everything was fine back in the 80's and there were no Dac services, you see companies pay Dac services all this money to get us truck drivers in trouble and put us out of work while they pay us peanuts, hell if they depend on Dac that much then let Dac sit behind the darn wheel of a truck day in and day out and see how clean of a record they will have:biggrin_2551::biggrin_25510:

Any company that does not is one that you should stay far far away from!

Some owner operators run trucks for the rail yards. If your interested, you can go to the rail yard and watch for the trucks going in and out. Get the names off the trucks and call them. Or put a CB in your car and try to talk to the drivers about who to hook up with. Most pay 28% to 33% of what the load pays. Years back I did this to stay local, while my kids were teens. Usually made 900. a week not great but paid the bills and kept me close. They don't use Dac. They do run MVR for insurance.

Dac is a joke. You should see mine :) there is a stretch for 6 month where it says I was driving full time for 2 different otr companys. I made close to 60k with both of the companys now I wish I was workin for both 120k a year would be nice. There aren't too many companys that use dac that I would work for.

I know a woman that works for arrow trucking as a recruiter now that worked for dac for about 4 years in tulsa, she said that they would put what ecer the company reports on there no questions asked. Swift says you drove to mars with out authorization they will put that on there!!!

Using dac or not doesn't make it a good or bad company. It just makes it easier to get on with them if you have a salty past! Peace!

Groendyke Transport uses DAC only to verify your previous experience. They know about and ignore all the bs.
