I need a GOOD local driving job in Ft.Worth

    Same boat here lol, don't get ur hopes up I CAN give you the # of a temp agency for truckers thats about all I can do .

    You might try Sunset Transportation in Haltom City. They are a local dump and tanker company. They're not the best but not the worst either. I believe their guarantee pay is $650/wk.

    I think there is a conspiracy to only hire drivers with little experience cause they are 'cheaper' per mile o.0

    I just went on the dallas/fort worth craigslist site, clicked jobs, searched drivers and found otr class a jobs no problem. How do you search for jobs?

    Did you get hired with them? Finding ads is the easy part. And in case you didn't read original poster said LOCAL. OTR is not as hard to find for though even they are stalling till Jan 1, but we are hoping to find something local.

    "LOCAL" Yea, I could get hired by almost any OTR but would like to get OFF the road, at least for a while. Thanks

    $650 ???.... After Uncle Sam and Insurance is taken out how could any one live off that?

    It's better than no pay check at all. Like I said, it's not the greatest but not the worst. They also just bought out PM Transport if you have hazmat endorsement. They're run completely seperate from Sunset so I don't know anything about them. DH was a field supervisor with Sunset but went to TMC recently. I know a guy who works with an oilfield company hauling water, but don't know the name of the company. I will ask him and let you know, it you'd like me to. LMC also has a guarantee pay, but last I knew it was only $400. You will usually make more than the guarantee with Sunset, but there are some weeks where you don't. HTH

    Ive got a job. Ive been working for the same company for 3 years now. I just want to go local. I would love info on ANY oil field company that would possibly hire me. Thanks again.....
