Stepchild, you will find that most of the companies require RECENT experience. If you need to fill that gap then check out Connelly, Georgia and Central Refridgerated.

You are FAR overqualified for the job, but if you can swallow it for a year then it will fill in the recent experience you need.

I always looked at my time with Central as a stepping stone to get where I needed to be. Good luck.

Brown Trucking and FFE both have a terminal in Lithonia with you. Also you might consider: Crete/Schaffer, J&M Tank Lines, Seven Hills Trucking, Millis Transfer, Performance Trucking, WSE, Etc. Really the list goes on and on, alot of companies have terminals in metro atl. somewhere. If you have flatbed/End dump/Oversized experience and like driving largecars loaded with chrome and lights I recommend Taylor Transport out of Tatlorsville, Ga (near Cartersville). He's also a MAC trailer dealer and runs local and OTR . Not a huge fleet but I've never seen anybody spend so much money on trucks. They have a website, just google the name.

Thanks, but i've already tried most of those carriers but during this poor economic times, im finding the dwi activity now more then 16 years ago has begun to stop me from being able to gain employment with the companies, which you listed.

However, thanks again.
