It's not "all of the time" but there are times that your blood pressure can be sent sky high in a literal heart beat. Keep in mind that getting pissed off is also a big part of stress. Like calling in for directions and getting a secretary who's Ebonics accent is so bad that literally cant understand the name of the street that shes trying to say (La Rosa). Yet when you ask to speak to someone else she pops the gettotude cusses you out, tells you that if you cant understand her then YOU need to learn "ingish" and hangs up. It took two dispatchers almost two hours to finally get the directions. When I got there I walked in and had a few words for her and her boss. "Lady the national language is English not ingish and your the one who needs to learn how to speak has I already do".

Or wait until the first time that you get bad directions, misunderstand them, or just straight up get lost and end up on some little narrow residential streets. And then there's the time you shut down in a bad area and have bums, druggies, drunks, and hookers banging on the side of your truck every half hour wanting something while your trying to sleep. And lets not forget the arguments with management, dispatchers, idiot dock hands, shippers and receivers that are not trucker friendly.

One of the stores I deliver to regularly the dock faces a four lane mall road two lanes each way. The dock area makes a 90 degree turn out onto the road. But guss what.. it's facing the wrong way so there is no way to back in to it without shutting down three of the four lanes. Now the problem here is all of the idiots in their SUV's that are in a major hurry to get somewhere. They will try to fit that car through the smallest possible opening regardless of if it will fit or not even pull right up to you and try to force you to move out of their way. And has far has they are concerned YOU are in their way not the other way around. Think about it your trying to back in hooking around a wall while watching the wall on the other side and ten cars all that the same time. If the cars stay back out of my way I can be in the dock in a minute to a minute and a half but I have had it take has long has 20 minutes.

Rule #1 about using a G.P.S
You must first be SMARTER then the G.P.S

Rule #2 Sadly a lot of drivers are not.
