Drive for FREE

I am to the point that I would drive for free just to get in a truck. I have put several app's in for OTRcompanies and have called and put a dozen app's in at local companies like rock quarries, recycling companies, etc. I would drive for FREE in the evenings or weekends. FREE,FREE,FREE. SERIOUSLY

Just wait a couple more months. We all may be driving for free.

Seriously though. Keep trying, something will pop up when you least expect it.

Not trying to start an "issue" here but why is working for free selfish and not responsible? He just might need time behind the wheel so he doesn't loose what skills he has. At least he's trying to get something going and isn't sitting around whining about not being able to do anything like thousands are. Just my opinion of course.

Real simple, just get in your car and drive. Nobody will pay you for that.

*smack to the head with rolled up newspaper*

Now stop giving the management IDEAS!

I have offered to do a trip for free to some local O/Os.I do not consider this selfish or irresponsible. I'am simply trying to get my foot in the door with someone. At least I'am trying. All the big company's say they're not hiring newbies now. Anyway I feel like I would rather work for someone that will know my name. The offer still stands for any interested O/O. I do not smoke. I'am willing to learn. Flat-bed,reefer,van it does'nt matter, what matters is the work and experience.

How long do you think it will take you to learn how to smoke?
