easy to get jobs?

I keep hearing about companies that dont use dac, etc, and are easy to get jobs with, but it sure seems like all the small companies in my area use DAC and are picky as hell. Where in the heck are you supposed to look for these?

My dac is fine but i've just run out of places to look for jobs at..
