| I am originally from Memphis, TN but reside in Papillion, NE due to the USAF. I have a few years left in the military and I am seriously considering a trucking job. I am planning to move back to north Mississippi and get my CDL in Tupelo. 1) Is it a good recommendation to get my CDL this way or go through a company? 2) After I get my CDL, what company would I benefit from the most - as far as money and benefits for myself and my family? I had high hopes for Stevens Transport but I saw too much negativity from driver posts. Now I am thinking about USA trucking company. I am still unsure about what i should do. I wouldn't mind hauling munitions or anything for the military. I currently hold a Top Secret clearance, are there any trucking jobs that need Top Secret clearance'd drivers? Any help will be much appreciated. God Speed & God Bless Last edited by schecterguy07; 09.02.2009 at 04.37 AM.. |
