Yard Jockey / Yard Switcher jobs?

    I talked to a guy hauling locally for Pepsi and he made it sound like you had to start entry level and work up to driving. Maybe that was just with his distributor though.


    But yeah like other said I kind of at least want a break from OTR. Driving a truck long haul isn't to bad but I get tired of not having a regular weekend. I could see doing yard jockey for 6 months to a year and even return to OTR with a different company.

    Well idk about yarddog drivers, but i did do local deliverys out of wilmington nc for cokea cola, starting pay was 42000 a year roughly. and they always are looking for drivers do to high turnover(not bad job)
