Looking for a new company............

Hey everyone, I am new to the forum. Hubby and I have been reading for a couple of weeks now but just joined us today.

As of right now, hubby is with a really bad company. Can't say much right now but as soon as he changes companies, I will be posting them on the "Bad Company" section.

This is what we are looking for...........
Solo company driver
Allow rider and pet
Paid per mile
Really good benefits
Home every weekend or at least ever other weekend
No forced dispatch
No NY or NE

Good miles but not forced to run illegal

He is with a flatbed company right now and would like to stay in that.

Oh, and he has 15 years experience with 0 tickets or 0 accidents

Boyd Brothers just called Hubby and this is what they said ...........

$100 a day for orintation in BHam with paid room
Allow riders
35 - 37 cents per mile
Out 2 weeks in 1 weekend

Someone wanna give some bad or good about this company? I will check other postings as well about this company.

** I read on here last night that there was a company that would send you to the terminal in BHam to fire you. Anyone know off the top of their head which one it was, just want to stay away from that one.

Just a thought. The Holiday Season is upon us, some drivers are staying put, just to keep the cash flowing !! Jobs are few and far between, especially with a pet !! Good Luck !!

Thanks for youe input. Hubby just got a call from the office and they did look and see the miles he is running and his pay isnt adding up. Go Figure! We said that since his first pay check. So they are now going to start giving all regional drivers a "starting", or guarantee a starting pay. That will help alot.

Still got our eyes open for something better.
