Does anyone on this website have information on NBI trucking school in Winter Haven, Florida? I am scouting around for a school. I am close to roadmaster in Tampa and the NBI in Winter Haven. I am not sure which school I would be interested in attending. I am not sure of the cost or anything else about the schools.

I also would like to find out more about NBI. I can not find any reviews online. I live close to Roadmaster in Tampa, but I would also like to check out NBI. Their website says they have a hiring fair Jan. 14 in Winter Haven.

Before I received my CDL I looked into NBI, they were very short with me when asking about info and inquiring about them. That turned me off, so I went else where. I heard that they aren't a bad school though.
I ended up going to Career Tech in Lakeland. It was a great experience with small classes and the staff are super nice. They are a christian based school and they treat you with a ton of respect. They also don't charge you extra if it takes you a little longer to get things, also since I've been home I go there about once a week and hang out and jump in the truck when there is room so I dont get to far behind on my skills. Look into them, they are good. careertechflorida.com -
I went to road master's in Tampa, good school but I personally didn't ready like it that much. You can not get one on one training, you gotta ride in the truck with 3-4 other students and I hated that. Also its over $6k which is a lot,I went there in 06 and paid around $5k I think now its around $6,200.00 or something like that.
Bristol Thanks this. -

Thank you so much for your reply. I wasn't aware of career tech. I live in Valrico and it wouldn't be that far for me to go. I went to NBI and they seemed very nice to me. They offer weekend classes. Do they have night classes or weekend classes at Career Tech ? I work so I can only go certain times. Also, What is their tuition cost?

(863) 688-8800 ask for david.
They have a program where you put 580 down and the rest comes out via payroll reduction once you get a job.
I am currently attending the school.
