Getting your CDL can run anywhere from nothing to $10.000. I have heard the best of Road Masters.........something in the line of $6000. I went thru CR E.........a special of $1395. Well let it suffice it be said that sometime we get what we pay for,,,,,,,,,,,Hindsight dictates I should have gone w/ Road M.'s school.

I would give this some major league thought before pursuing your own truck. But, hey, there are others out there much more qualified than me to provide advice. So let us hear from those of you better qualified to offer advice.

$320 for a 160 hour course. Doing the repeat is almost free if you've graduated from the school. I did, in 2001, but let my CDL lapse.
