C.R. England .......
Just curious if anyone had any afterthoughts about the 17 day "CRASH" course.
I just graduated and am having a hard time sticking to my 6 month agreement with them.
HELP ? lol

AJ360...May I ask why you are having trouble with 6 month commitment? I was thinking about going to Richmond, In. school and have been wanting to get info from recent grad and came across your post. Thanks!

well i do not want to bash the company
lets just say that the 2995 that I am now endebted to C.R. England for graduating their course is seeming like its more and mroe affordable than just working for 6 months and it being FREE.
17 days of sleep deprived ,go,go,go,go lack of training atmosphere and then thrown into a "phase 1" trainers truck.
Phase 1 trainer earned position simply by waiting 6 months and then leasing through C.R. England at 700 a week x 3 years and then a 40,000 usd baloon payment for a 20% gross profit.
Illegal logs and qualcomm manipulation and zero training from zero experience trainers.
i'm all for keeping my end of the deal but when I'm sitting in a bunk waiting for a trainer who actually knows what he is doing and has the ability and temperment to train , i may be stuck for another month at 25 usd a day.
cant support family on that

You got screwed like 1000s before you. CRE is the bottom of the barrel. Get done and get away. If you live that long.

I am so thankful that I found this forum I was accepted last week at CR England and now after reading these stories I will not be going with them. I will look for another company to train with. Thanks.

The school I'm currently taking the refresher course at here in Virginia. We have 2 people from CR England come back here to learn more since England did'nt teach them anything. They already have their cdl but feel they didnt learn anything to be safe on the road.
I don't know what england is doing over there but this is eventually gonna catch up to them. These guys tell us they are letting students train students on the road with as little as 2 weeks exp. WTH?
