cdl driving school - eye, opening experience
howdy folks,
just graduated cdl driver training school at york technical college, in rockhill S.C. Must admit it has been a eye opening
experience , my hat goes off to all who drive tractor-trailers, never knew so much went into driving. From Pre-trip to Scaling, trip planning, etc. lot to learn. thanfully I had some really good, and patient instructors at York Tech, they took the time to work one on one with the students in the areas they were having trouble with , Me, it was 90 degree backing, cut my butt for about a week but with lots of practice, ( and yelling) I finally got the hang of it. And school was not about getting on the interstate and driving in a straight line , we drove downtown Rockhill, in the country and on the interstate.
Never knew a town could have so many traffic lights, (got real good with my clutching and shifting ). My thanks goes out to Jim Mroz, and Dave Davenport for all their help. To all those in the South Carolina area I strongly recommend the driver training at york tech, check it out, classes are small ,and the instructors are really interested in teaching good driving skills and habits. you all take care and be safe out there !!!!
