Road Master has always been expensive! Have you checked with Pinellas TEC in St Pete? They were much cheaper as they are run by the county/state. I went there 20 years ago and it was very thorough. It also took 3 months going 5 days a week. They were highly regarded back in the day. Not sure if they offer a refresher or not, worth the call.
Have you checked the community colleges in your area, even like Ft Myers. That would be much closer for you, just an idea.
Good luck wherever you go!

Donny13 my situation was similar to yours. The ony difference is I went to the Fontana,Ca. site. You'll go thru their basic 4 week school Its the same course for those who do not have CDL's. The first week will classroom stuff, plus a placement/fianace person will come and hand out 2 or 3 apps to fill out. The majority of their classroom stuff will be done on a computer. Week#2 you will be work on straight backing, alley docking, and parellel parking. Weeks 3 and 4 will be roadwork and working on what did you during week 2.
