That sounds just like the experience I had at Roadmaster in Columbus, Oh. Instructors talked to students so horribly.
They kept pushing Werner down my throat. Failure rate was so high because they just moved people along like cattle.
Job market was bad and they just had people lined up at the door waiting to get in.Last edited by jmorgn; 07.20.2012 at 09.44 PM. Reason:: additional info

Not everyone who thinks can be a trucker should be one. Its upon you to do research before jumping in and forking up the cash. Did u get a CDL? If so they did their part but you didnt do yours by finding info on how mistakes from your past could affect ur future. Trucking aint for everybody. DUIs and Felonies well....u start getting picky with a fudged up record welll....just sayin.

I'm not one to revive over a month old thread but I have had a totally different experience with roadmaster Indy..
I have only had one issue with an instructor and that's because he's a cocky a$$hole, but there's always one in a group no matter what you're doing. I dealt with him by politly asking him to go away...
All the others have been extremely helpful to me throughout my time there.
If you didn't do your own homework before attempting to get into trucking the only one to blame is yourself.
And yes the placement gal is useless but I don't expect things to be handed to me so I did my own job hunting just like the adult I am..
I already have multiple pre hires and I too have a dui all though it was from more then 8 years ago so it hasn't effected me getting work. It seems went went into this whole thing with a gimme attitude.
You only get out what you put in..
If you win your lawsuit more power to you but if the judge has half a brain I don't see you having a chance at winning.
But I am sure your lawyer has you convinced you will just like those "lying crooks" at roadmaster had you convinced you could get a job in trucking...

I also went roadmaster indy and was n the same class as sure was...if u cant take someone cussn orbelittle ing u then u gatta look into a diffrent line of work.if i had a problem it was that i didnt listen the first time i was told but if i pulled instructor aside and asked for help i got it..if anyone were to ask me i would recomend the school..but warn that they are not teaching u how to b a trucker just teaching enough to get ur cdl so b sure udo ur homework as to what u want to do after that

I am in the weekend class right now. So far so good, I went to 2 classes and studied at home and got my permit. I have seen a few characters there already but the school has been good so far.
