I went to their Indianapolis school over a decade ago. It certainly wasn't a bad school--they got the basics across in a 3.5 week period, and I never had any hassles with them. They have you apply with a bunch of companies so they know you'll be able to be employed upon completion, and usually these companies will pay part or all of the cost if you drive for them for an agreed-upon period of time.

As with any school, what you get out of it depends greatly upon you. If you're willing to learn as much as you can, pay attention and ask questions, you'll do all right.

And remember--school is for the absolute basics only. When you're out with your trainer, you'll learn a lot more. And once you're cut loose, you will still have a lot to learn...and you always will. The day you stop learning, it's time to hang up the CDL and go do something else.

Good luck...let us know how it goes!
