 Week 4 Day 3: Took a day long trip to the Flying J in Russellville AR. No yard work today. Classroom homework tonight on Atlas and Map reading. Must find the answers to the following scenario: Leaving # 6am on 6/6 loaded from Springdale AR to Windsor NC. Speed: 55mph at 6mpg. 1. Total Miles? 2. Miles in each state? 3. Highways used for trip in each state? 4. Total fuel used? 5. Total hours driving? 6. Date & time arrived.  |

| Week 4 Day 5: Morning road trip. I drove 26 of 75 miles. After lunch we took our final school tests on each of the five yard exercises, stopping, straight back, serpentine, right turn, and driver side dock. Then we took our final exam on Federal Motor Carriers Regs, 50 questions. We all passed, so next week we will do our final test on coupling and uncoupling, school road tests, then begins our CDL tests with the State Police Examiner on Wednesday and Thursday. |

 Week 5 Day 1: Morning visit by recruiter from Tyson Foods. Later we had our official school road tests. Lunch was provided by Tyson Foods recruiters and another info session about their company. More yard work after lunch followed by classroom instruction at 3pm on trip planning using the road atlas. |

| Week 5 Day 4: Graduation day. We took our tests with the State Police Examiner yesterday and today NTI awarded us our diplomas and an hour or so later at the revenue office I obtained my CDL. Going to Tyson orientation on Monday morning. |
