Any schools 4 weeks or shorter and not over $400.00 to get CDL? I have bad credit!

    Any schools 4 weeks or shorter and not over $400.00? Bad credit!
    I live in MS but can go anywhere depending on the cost.
    Also if i go thru a company they need to have rider and pet
    policy! Thanks!

    There's plenty out there that are <4 wks, but good luck on the $400 part. Most are more like $4000.

    I think what you are referring to would be Company Sponsored Training. Swift, Prime, Central Refrigerated, etc. Google " Company Sponsored CDL Training".

    i mean that is all the money i have for out of pocket to spend but with bad credit prob
    would not qualify for financial aid. I have looked at a few thru company but no pet policy!
    I can't sign a years contract w no pet policy!

    Have you looked into Roehl? I think you can start with $285 out of pocket.

    Check with Midwest-Coast Transport; maybe a pet policy & it's a 3 week course.

    NONE are going to let you have a pet or rider right away ... you will have school and then on a trainers truck for up to 3 months and they wont allow any pets during that period of time or a rider .. ... after that when you are ready for your own truck.. See US Xpress, Conway TL ..


    I wouldn't plan on having a pet or rider along for the first 4-6 months ...anywhere ..

    Check with some of the schools about financing anyway. They might have you on a higher interest rate, but might syill finance you if you have someone to co-sign with you. Once you have your CDL, a lot of companies that hire out of schools offer tuition reimbursement.

    Thanks i will check these out and honeybadger i tried to get in a school in my area had 2 cosignors but
    they were not good enough, didn't get qualified and i don't know anybody else to cosign!
