It's not that something is rotten going on.They are just only looking at the only option that they believe they have. Roadmasters is also available at my office also but there recruiter never shoxed up at all. It can be any school as long as it is within the state of Florida and meets the dollar amount allowed. You may have to pay a difference above the amount of wia allowed amount. Your county should be at a national average because it is a Federal grant they are getting.

It would seem that way, but its not. Don't know whether its the large Suncoast board of directors staff, or the Hurricane that hit Punta Gorde last year which is on its South Border, but they will NOT do anything more than $3500 NOR anything too far outside its own county borders. They are screwing the pooch, like every other FL school district. MFT gets funds for their nice trucking school, and Suncoast just steals $2K off of evey WIA grant. FL is the biggest pack of jackels government I've ever seen: from school districts to police to, of course, politicians. Jacksonville seems better/different since they have a real economy and a successful city.

St. Pete Tech would be fine, but will be 10 weeks instead. But by the time our local Suncoast County steals $2K, it makes it near impossible so am getting tired of screwing around with them. Wasted a solid 2 weeks of my unemployment period riding 250 mile round trip to MFT orientation (for nothing), and unemployment office for LOUD WIA video orientation that had LOUD 140 db SCREACHES every 20 seconds (again for nothing). They are kind of pitiful support. Michael Moore could make a good movie down here, but it would be too depressing, so it wouldn't be too funny. Even if can't afford to go to a truck votech, would like to suck that $3500 for something, before I leave here, since they have sucked the life out of me as well as anyone else who has been beached in this god forsaken hell hole.

From Bradenton to Punta Gorde is the lowest paying hole in FL even though Sarasota has some rich retirees. All jobs are minimum wage after expenses and other job related costs that the employer dumps on their employees. And the whole economy down here is centered around corrupt government grinding and sucking everyone through minimum wage jobs. Even the illegal aliens don't stick around too long and hop into the next empty van going North; but there are still millions of illegal aliens passing through routinely when they first arrive in the USA (however they are getting here - our Illegal Alien AG must be shipping them in on the big cruise ships now). But waves of them come into 2 bedroom house (30 per) and in a few weeks you will see little white garbage bags on the side of the street where they have already moved on Northward.
