in alot of instances you can look up your criminal record on the circuit clerks website, its public record. depends on how "e-savvy" the county is.

But the bigger county's are also "e-greedy" so they are not going to give anything away for free. I'll just go to local Sheriffs head quarters, since its the same info as an employment screen. The mis-information age, lol.

Yea, I seriously doubt you are going to find a background check for $25. I would do like you said, go to your local Sheriff's office and check...they shouldn't have a problem doing that for you. Matter of fact, they'll probably gladly do it, LOL. Either that, or slap a Cop and he'll do one for you then too...JUST KIDDING! LOL.

Hee Hee, thought about that! Today went to Sheriffs head quarters and they sent to DMV who sent me to County Courthouse. $4.10 for up for up to 10 years and a $1 per page after.

follow up edit: Got out of state court records from county on line for free That's just what someone told me, and skipped over site before. Do a open search, but need to be in criminal tab and not civil tab that page starts out on (that's what I did the first time through - double duh!). Not bad at all, and now won't look like a liar now for not remembering dates.
