Their program is modelled after the Johnston County Truck Driver Training School. There are a few threads on here about them. Sampson is probably the cheapest of the community college programs in NC. The Director at Sampson Co. used to work at JCC.
I went to JCC so I don't have any first hand knowledge. I spoke with them when I was searching for a school. JCC was closer to me. Excellent program

sampson community was good, just graduated from there two weeks ago, just know you will have to travel to kenansville nc for the training field, which is another 30-45 mins from the college so depened on how far you are from the college just know you will be riding a little longer on certain days you are pose to be at the training field

if you take week day classes, you will be at the college on mondays 8am to 5pm, (which is in clinton,nc) tues-friday you will be on the training field 8am-6pm(which they usually let us go around 5:40 etc, after you do ya daily clean up and thats in kenansville nc)

weekend classes you will be at the school on thursdays nights 6pm-10pm, n on the training field saturday n sundays 8am-6pm

great school, great instructors they teach you the basic n more, i was a rookie to the core lol never drove a stick let alone a 18 wheeler n i couldn't back to save my life, but after this class i have a better ideal on how to shift n i can back pretty #### good right now.....i would def recommend it, just know how far you are from the school n the training field

hope this help have any more questions let me know
