For financial reasons (Yep, I'm broke.) I'm looking at company schools. I would appreciate any advice and/or real life experiences anyone would be willing share about either school and working for each company as a newbie and especially from female drivers. I'm doing my homework about it over the summer and am planning to go to school in September. Because of my location I'm guessing Stevens would send me to their affiliate school near Atlanta. Thank you!
Stevens vs Roehl. Been there? Tell me about it!

Hi Trish, I wrote a lot about my experience at Roehl and you should be able to find that in the Roehl area. Others have done the school experience posting to and more recent. Roehl has a number of females that drive. Roehl has good policies in place and are strict keeping a safe and clean working environment. I would be surprised if u would ever get harassed here if that's a concern. Drivers here are generally professional and go about their business.

I worked for stevens for 5 years.... they have their warts, and good points, just will it fit with you...
go and read the many stevens threads on TTR....
Many drivers enjoy discussing and cussing their experiences here,

and the now locked thread due to size,

No, I haven't but I'll take a look. Thanks!

Here's a thread from another female driver.
The company gets a bad rap/catches flack for an incident about a driver that passed away out West somewhere, but it has nothing to do with the school. If you're broke, this may be a good option.
Going to training at SRT...mje and Trish in SC Thank this. -
