I saw an old thread on this school, but I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with them in recent years. There are only a couple of schools in NC I am considering and this is one of them. The other is in Raleigh. Any information and advice is very welcome. Thanks!

I attended FTA, got my CDL there in December, as did my co-driver. You are in Greensboro, it's a no brainer since you're so close. Good instructors there, they'll teach you all you need to know to get your CDL, and in just 4 or 5 weeks. Go for it. Good luck!

Thanks, Skydivedavec! It's good to hear from folks who have first hand knowledge!

Hello fellow Greensboro-er. I recommend Davidson Community College at the Mocksville campus. Although I never attended, I did attend a nearly identical program at Johnston community college near Raleigh. They offer several programs. Its pretty darn affordable and the standard program lasts two months. If you can afford not working for two months, it really is the best choice. We had at least a dozen recruiters towards the end of the program. Good luck!
