I think for that price, I might as well be better off going to company school

In michigan i spent 3k for mine. It has paid off for me. I would never ever send my worst enemy to CR England company school. Horrible in the worst.

Community Colleges often offer CDL training and are usually substantially less than a for profit CDL school. For example the community college here in Jax. FL is $2300 for 8/wk. course vs. $5700 for Roadmaster 4/wk. training. Many people are receiving WIA grants for CDL training....look into it.

In Phoenix there's a school for $1500 with one on one training over 7 days. You already have to have your permit though but they are a licensed 3rd party tester meaning once your instructor passes you you'll have your CDL.

Most Chicago area schools only charge around $1,500. If you're paying more you are getting ripped off.

Here in Arizona school was right at $4000, just so happens to be amount the WIA grant will provide. But that covered everything including all endorsements including the hazmat.

Crowder College in Neosho, MO, is wonderful! Not much less, but, if you get pre-hired with Conway, they will pay half of your tuition.
