Alright, for you guys looking into this industry, chances are you have come across Celadon. I am going to give you some insider information pertaining to their CDL program that you really need to consider. To be objective, I will give you both, pros and cons.

    PROS
    1. They pay for your CDL/ CDL Permit.
    2. Dorms and food are provided.
    3. You'll meet a lot of interesting people and life long friends.
    4. They have a computer lab (Though everything is pretty much filtered)
    5. Brand new trucks. For example, they have new team trucks that are 2015 13 speed KW's.
    6. Plenty of road time (time in which you are driving the truck around the city. On average, once a week.)

    CONS:
    1. If you don't know, recruiters are going to lie.
    2. The course that is "4 weeks" long, expect to be at the school closer to 8-10 weeks.
    3. You don't get paid while in school.
    4. In order to do laundry, I suggest you learn how to create money from thin air.
    5. Most of the staff don't care... and they don't try to hide the fact they don't care. If you're observant, you'll notice it.
    6. The housekeeping staff will mess with your stuff when they're cleaning your room.
    7. Forced dispatch company. They will not tell you this over the phone as a lot of people hate that.
    8. Although it is not written in your contract, you will be forced to drive team for a minimum of 6 months.

Now keep in mind, there are plenty more things to be said in both categories, this is neither to hurt nor to endorse the company; it is purely to give you potential students an idea of what to expect on both sides.

Hi my name is Chris and i decided i want to go back and try truck driving school again, i went to CR England in April 2013 and i was drop from the program the first week, I decided i wanted to go to truck driving school in November 2012 and on and off studided the general knowledge, air braks and combo and the week before the school started i cram as much as i can and got to the school and was told i was going to have to take the Indiana state exam and i failed that test 2 times with 7 wrong answers both times.

So just last week i decided i want to do this again and figured i will take a diffrent way of studying this time, i will go over all the material that CR England gave me and study that material, go over the CDL manual, take a few pretest online and study every day for about 2 to 4 hours a day for the next month. I already started because i have been doing this for 3 days now, i figured study, pratice test and repeated that every day. I did also put my app in so i expect a phone call soon maybe maybe tommorrow or tuesday we'll see.

Otherwise if you guys want to comment or give me advice please fell free to, and anything that u think i should be studying or going over please
    say so

I dont know what sites you are connected to, however if you send me a private message I could give you some pointers on great study material. I have been doing this for almost 2 years now. I am so ready to ace those tests. I have also done this once before and passed with flying colors from the tools I have. That also included the Indy drivers test remember study the signs!

As for the money issue. If you find yourself needing money while you are here there is a place to donate plasma close to the school. Not the most appealing option but it does help

I've been offline for a bit but I will say this: I really hope you didn't go to that company. The review was about the school but I'll be honest, I can't give a review about the company that has anything good in it.
