I'm a very laid back, easy going person and try to get along with everyone. I tend to just go with the flow unless a situation arises where something needs to be said. There is an instructor at Roadmaster in Fontana, Ca who I don't think should be allowed in the trucks driving with students. This instructor does a terrible job explaining what to do and when a mistake is made spends the next 5 minutes belittling the student. I personally witnessed 3 students skills digress simply because they were nervous that this person would ridicule them. I'm not a complainer, like I said, but when I see a situation like this I feel I need to say something. Is there anyone out there who has had a similar experience or have some advise on whether or not I should say something to the school director?

Thing is I've learned a few great tips from this instructor and think that they are great when teaching air brake or pretrip but shouldn't be allowed in the truck with students when out driving.

Is he yelling at and belittling you? If so, I would first try to talk to him (privately, not in front of other students) and explain in a calm and rational manner that you don't appreciate being yelled at. If that doesn't solve the problem, you may then have to go to his boss to get the situation resolved.

if he is doing it to others, and not you, you should mind your own business and just concentrate on learning all you can. The other students are big boys and don't need a white knight. If they have a problem, let them handle it.

good luck, and remember that this school only lasts a few weeks. Once you get your CDL, which is the ultimate goal, you will never have to deal with this jerkoff again.

They did it to me a couple times and I called them out on it. I don't take stuff like that at all. I'm not a pushover by any means. It was mostly other students it was happening to. I think at the very least I'm going to request that I not go out in their truck on driving days.

Dont tell me you are talking about monica. If you are its because you have no business in this industry. She is hands down the best instructor there. She is testing if you will cave under pressure and you obviously are. Its a 80000lb weapon buddy. If her little words hurt you so much then i personally dont want you behind a big rig.

    Man up.

I haven't been out with him yet, he seems cool. There's a huge difference between being tough in order to prep a new driver and being a jerk because you don't know how to teach. This person has only been there since july.

SWIFT, CRST almost anywhere is better than taking there crap, man up and walk.
