Well.. I am still torn between FFE or Stevens.

Then someone posted about Millis training noobies for regional routes. Wasted two week on that lead.

I keep seeing folks chiming in about how training companies are not needed.

Are there other local/regional training options I am missing?

    Raider Express in Ft. Worth.
    Roehl Transport
JBS Carriers has Texas regional. They pay for Roadmasters school.

Why didn't Millis work out? They sometimes have local job openings.

I have no idea. Put in online app, no call for two weeks. Called to check up, and was told 'our director has selected other applicants'.

cross your fingers and pick one. both are reefer, and not to offend anyone, both can be considered by some as bottom feeders. seeing as you live in/around ft worth, i'd go with the one that will get you training in water hauling, put some time in then move on to bigger and much better paying companies. i see steven's pulling water tankers around the Granbury, Cressen and even Glen Rose areas often and that's what, 40 mins from ft worth?

just my 2 cents, best of luck to ya where ever you end up.

U have your CDL or looking for CDL training? Roehl's training for getting your CDL is up in Marshfield, WI and Gary, IN. If you have your CDL then Grand Prairie, TX terminal has a week training then 2 weeks out with a trainer.

If I am leaning toward FFE, should I be reading the threads on FFE or KLLM?

Is the merge just a paper thing? or did the 'culture' change as well??

Also the FFE link on the training list does not work, and there is no link for KLLM?

depends on what u wanna do...we chose kllm and drive regional but read both kllm and ffe boards. you will get the gist of things and this is not on paper its now a hodge podge but ffe does still dispatch outta lancaster as well as kllm
