You could try witte bros in Troy it's 500 for 4 weeks and you have a guaranteed job with them after. Ik crowder college is really good in neosho MO by Joplin. There is westwind in Cuba mo and OTC in Springfield.

Yes, that's a good choice, Witte Bros.
MTC that you posted about is good also.
Celadon trucking company has free CDL training and furnishes lodging and 3 meals a day at no cost to you.
Southern Refrigerated Transport is the same as Celadon, except they furnish 2 meals a day.

The community college is the best route if you can afford the tuition.

Stay away from Drivers Solutions at all cost. PAM is toxic.

Another good choice is Millis Transfer. There you need $500.00 for tuition, same as Witte Bros. Millis is one of those $50K jobs.

I believe that Conway Truckload recruits a lot of new drivers out of Crowder Community College in Neosho Missouri. You may want to give them a call to find out for sure.

    Please explain that.

You pump Millis and Witte Bros in every single thread.

I've looked at Millis and their pay scale. Unless my calculator is broken I dont see how anyone could make $50k with them in their first year.

They us that "Be a paid tourist" in their advertising all the time....I hate that deceitful crap.

Witte Bros starts at $.26 a mile while under contract for the 1st year with them if they train you.

Its impossible to make $50k in your first year at $.26 per mile. You'd have to pull 3700 miles a week every week.

    Thats not gonna happen....ever.

    What am I missing?

I didn't realize Witte Bros. drivers make $50K, that's news to me.
Millis drivers post on here that's what they make.
No one is going to make that on CPM alone; have to add in accessorial pays. With all my experience I only made .36 cpm, but actually made $65K per year. I'll gladly take less cpm as long as my annual pay is high.

I would be foolish to lie on an open forum; too easy to call me out on it. I know it really rubs some senior drivers the wrong way when they see a new CDL grad making more money than they do. I made $65K OTR in hazmat/tankers and saw Trimac drivers doing the same and making $20K more than me, but I wasn't jealous, it was my personal choice.
