| Cost is about 3200.00 Almost all the equipment is close to new or new. The lacation I'm at has 2 training ranges. All the instructors are alot of fun but also mean business. They want to make sure everyone in the class does well. We had 5 companies come talk to us this week. One guy got the news this morning that he would be hired when he completed school. I am going to do my applications this weekend and turn them in Monday. |

| I know someone that went to a CDL school in GA. He used a grant that GA had. Something to do with the lottery fund I believe. I would check out the programs. They paid for almost all of his schooling. I think he had to pay for the books. Not sure if you qualify, but would be worth looking into.

| Go to Daly's! I went there. There are only two schools in the state of Georgia to were DDS will actually come to the school to do your testing and Daly's is one of them. You practice on the course in your last week were DDS will test you! You also practice the same route for your on the road test! It does not hurt to have that familiarity with the route! With the other schools you have to make an appointment for your driving test with DDS. They do not go out to the other schools! To make an appointment it can and HAS taken up to 2 months! I know a few people that went to Georgia Driving Academy in Conyers it took them 5 weeks to take their test. That is not good. When I was a student, If I had a 5 week break before I took the test, I wouldnt feel so confident. Go to Daly's They are great people. Stephanie Matus in admissions is a sweetheart. So is Kathy, she just aint as cute! ![]() |

| Look into the WIA program. You pay nothing! They will even help with child care and gas to get to and from class everyday. |

I decided to pay for it out of pocket because most companies now do tuition reimbersment without any strings attached. It just takes a while to get it all back. I actually borrowed the money from my credit union. The interest rate is 2% and that is much less than I am getting on my money market account so borrowing the $ was a no brainer. |

| Am not from Georgia, but I saw their web site and am very interested in the school... 3 questions for you... Have you run into anyone form out of state ? What about accommodations and meals .. nothing listed on their site.. and is that included in your $ 3200 ?? I know that often when paying cash for these schools you get a discount.. was that the case with Daly, or is that the fee even if financed ? |
