North Dakota CDL school - FREE

Job Service and the WIA (Workers Investment Act) are putting on a six-week CDL training course in Dickinson ND starting the 25th of Feb. It's open to the first eight that sign up and are approved. If you're a dislocated worker, dislocated homemaker, etc..... this training is FREE. I believe one requirement is that you have a ND drivers license. You'll be getting your CDL permit during the first week of the course, the rest will be split up between classroom and actual driving and practicing. You'll take your CDL driving test the last week of the course.

Did you got to this school? I went to the South East Technical Institute Trucker School via the Skills & Technology Center in Fargo. The WIA via JOb Service ND of Grand Forks paid for the whole class and reimbursed my hotel costs. (about 1,200.00$)

No, I didn't. I was signed up for the same school but at the last minute I took a job with the DOT and got some on-the-job training and I just got my CDL Class A yesterday. What a feeling to get that over with!!!!
