All-State Career????

I just went out to All-State Career (Pittsburgh Location) and am ready to hand over $5,500.00 for their 4 Week CDL Course is this a mistake? Are there other good options for me in my area right now. One thing that concerns me is that I have a white collar Federal Felony and I am just coming home... While the recruiter didn't promise me employment placement she did make it clear that I should be employable is this true? Are their other training options within company training programs for former felons? Looking for all the help and advise out there!

Hey Green, Im in All state Career over in Philly, im paying close to $9,000 and thats a 6month course.. 5,500 for 4 weeks with a fed. fel is a pretty big gamble based in the facts shown at my school with folks that have felony's here, they are having a hard time with employment, if your just coming home you may want to persue a nother career, im an internet junkie as some would call it, i do major research for fellow classmates that dont have internet access, that have felonies, and most companies will hire you if your charges were more then 5-10 years ago. if yours is just recent, i would put in the back burner till you do your own internet searches looking for companies that would hire you. its as simple as this :
They Dont Trust You. they dont care what your charges where. and this " white collar fed. fel." doesnt sound very good.
However, as i stated above, im just a student still in school, and im just giving you facts based on the way i see it EVERYDAY at my school.
hopefuly others would be able to assist you hear on this site.
But please, dont make the mistake of spending all that money to be able to NOT get a job.
Best of luck to you and your search, remeber, the reqruitor will tell you what ever sounds good's to you to get you there, cause when you sign that paper, he/she gets paid, and you get screwed in the end, and they dont care.
