Ok i have contataced them i already have my permit i am curretnly slated to start august 4th, 2008 but i am going to have to delay week or two to see what happens with work. I can't affored to go 2 or 3 weeks with no check then have reduced check for 4 weeks so i hoping to get voluntairy layoff then go to school so i will have unemployment during this time. I have read alot on this site and many others about what people have to had to say about this school and many others. I understand this is accelerated training course that is why i have already gotten permit with airbrakes and combo. I plan to go back next week get doubles and triples endorsement as well as tanker i don't want hazmat unless i have to. I live in indiana so i hoping this will be easy transaction not worried about working for them for year thats part of the deal. So i was wondering if i already got permit and endorsements how long will course be and what will i be doing while everyone else is taking permit test. Do you take another written test when you go to get cdl license or is it all pre-trip and driving test thanks.

Having been a recent graduate of that very school I will say you are ahead of the game by a great deal. They are accelerated and do have the ability to allow you to go to the next stage once you complete the early stages. Call and talk to Jamie (student coordinator) and she can more than likely get you set up to start the driving portion once you complete the drug screen and their physical. No way to bypass those.

Week one is solely book and permits and starting to get some pretrip. Week two is pretrip and road/range. Once you learn and pass their pretrip this frees you up for more driving time. I did see one person who completed the course in less than a week BUT he did come from a family that owned a small co. They needed to send him there for reduced insurance cost.

Whichever way you go GOOD LUCK, and listen to the range and road instructors. Too many times people felt they were ready to go to the state CDL test and the instructors told them they were not ready. Once the student persisted they allowed him or her to go, every time the student came back a little more humbled and no CDL. Only 3 or 4 tries to pass it and then it starts costing you like $150 (the states fee) out of pocket each time you take it.
