| If I were you, I would try to learn all the parts and not use the cheat sheet unless it is a last resort. It is always good to know everything about it you know.

| Hey, I went to ADS in 1995. Been driving almost ever since. I became a dispatcher for 3 years though. But I'm back in the truck now. ADS did run us through the course, but I got my CDL and all turned out well! |

| Sorry for not updating yesterday, I was sick; but I still went to class. Yesterday we did straight line backing and alley docking. I mastered both within a few times of trying. I can now alley dock every time I try. Today we learned how to offset right and left (which is hard as ####) and blindside parallel. It took me all day to figure it out, but once I got the hang of it there was no stopping me. Blindside parallel is actually easier to do in a tractor trailer than it is in a car, all though we only had about 1 hour to practice parallel between 4 people I have almost mastered it.

| That's awesome JB!! Sounds like a lot of fun. So now, do you get to sit back for a day or so and watch the other students fumble through it?? I'm jealous..... I wish my classes had already started.

| It is fun. I do get to sit around, I tend to let the students that are falling behind get the wheel more often; but I have to still practice and keep things rolling you know. Its funny, this one guy in my class was straight line backing and went way off course and jack knifed the trailer, dont ask me how, but after that he quit the class LOL. Today we went through all the maneuvers we have been doing the past few days plus driver side parallel. I still need to work on my offsets a bit, struggling with them. Other than my offsets I am comfortable in saying that I am good with all the others. Good day to all and drive safe.

| Hmmm, didn't he notice in one of his mirrors that he could see the MOST OF THE SIDE of the trailer? Wouldn't that throw a red flag in your general direction that something was slightly amiss?? I hope to not do something quite so haphazardly as that when I get behind the wheel.

| Wannabe with Expectations I am thinking about attending Roadmaster at KCMO. I hope the equipment and instructors are also interested in developing better professional drivers and not just busting the students #$$ and taking their paychecks home. |
