Actually, yes. Trainco in Perrysburg, and presumably Michigan as well are talking it up. I think it's kind of saying, "Hey, you're going to lose your job, so we'll be your crutch at least." But I don't know. Maybe they're just trying to draw sympathy out of prospective drivers. Strange concept indeed...

My school offers it. I let them know when I was termintated and they said I was welcome to come in and fill out applications and stuff, they would fax them for me and do what they could to help me get a job.

A couple weeks ago, just out of the blue, they called me up and told me about a local company looking for drivers. I called them up, filled out an app, interviewed, and they said to keep calling for the next month, they'll get me on a truck as soon as they can.
