we have a international truck with a cummins isx engine (not sure if cm870 or cm871-engine is a 2005). basically we are getting oil in the coolant. read up that this is an issue with these engines and i see people are saying its the oil cooler that's causing it. mostly want to know where the actual oil cooler is? is there a schematic online somewhere that shows the breakdown. and im guessing the turbo needs to come off. can it come off in one piece or does it need to be disassembled?
are we looking at replacing the whole oil cooler or possibly just a gasket?
should we pressure test the oil cooler?
our mechanic is very skilled just has never torn this truck/engine down before.
