cascadia regen..... nightmare!

    went into limp mode again had to restart 83 times to get it to the dealer another bad sensor come on guys how are we going to get around the regen last month i was down 5 days and when i went in for a sensor today there was a recall on a part of the ard head but we wouldnt have known unless we broke down cat wont even put that info out there unless you are broke down. who is doing the refig on these computers to bypass the system any info is very much appreciated

    Cascadia 2012 and older, Regen design IMO is faulty, everytime you have a check engine, Malffunction Indicator Lamp, and later a Stop Engine flashing light common to Cascadia, Regen design look like it was not design for stop and go traffic or city traffic, idling too much...you end up bringing it back to freightliner shop, to do cleaning and do manual regeneration(it need their computer to do it). This thing is worthy of class action. it is also my problem with my Cascadia, and the shops majorities very slow you lost lots of times waiting to temporarily fix it, and it will happened many times,,,until you almost quit. Suggest better run it with at least 1000 RPM minimum so as not to give you any problems with REGEN....

    Don't wonder that miles you got, you run it an interstate highway or Toll road, but it will come back again, In my opinion, it is not design to run to a stop and go traffic, of city traffic. Just watch it and you will all noticed it. Regen is ok with 1000 RPM or more, lower than that and stop and go. problems will come back again and time to visit freightliner shop and do some cleaning of the valves and manual regeneration again.

    A Problem with REGEN design, it happened to majorities of the trucks with regeneration, it is not made to run in CITY Traffics or stop and go traffics..It is a recall. Worhty of Class Action..It is also my problems, everytime I pick up a load with plenty of traffic lights need to hurry out of it and run it at interstate Highways with at least 50 miles min for at least 45 min. to automatically regenerate while you are running. With Malfunction Indicator lamp, check engine light both on, you are in danger of a flashing stop engine, you need to find nearest freightliner shop to clean it and manually regenerate it and fix it temporarily.

    What ended up being wrong this? mines are doing the same thing with rpm going up and down...i been in the shop 3 days already
