Last Wednesday our truck began to code, it had been running roughly for a while but while breaking on a hill it began to code (Service Engine Soon). Mind you the truck's been in the GTS shop # dallas 3 times since it started to have rough running issues, and every time I told them it was running poorly and getting crappy MPGs. But everytime they said it was fine. :biggrin_25511:

We took it to a dealer once it coded, and it was there 3 days, 1 day because they closed right after we got there. The other to find the issue, and the other to fix it. So we got out Friday. The issue? A broken actuator bolt and actuator thing. Once returned it ran great, pulled great, got 8.0 mpg again easy.

    Alls great!

Because of the holiday we got crappy load and no other load till Monday, go to pick up todays load, no brake lights. Well thats usually a trailer thing so we pulled the pigtail and still no tractor brake lights. Checked the fuse, not blown. Replaced the fuse. Nothing. Took to TA shop, they torn dash apart couldn't find issue. D/Ced left and then right tail lights, no change.

Yet all other lights work. Including tail lights.

    o.0

So now we are losing our load, someone's taking it off us so we can go into a FL dealership to have them look at it because I through a hissy fit when they wanted me to drive to ATL Kenworth with no brakelights.

Anyone have any clue what it could be cause I am completely perplexed at this point, near as I can figure it must be the switch in the pedal. This will be day #4 sitting now, last week we barely ran 1.5k miles. This week we are supposed to be home the 9th. >.<

On my t800 there is a fuse NOT in the panel, but on the front of the firewall right in front of the driver. Look around .... kind of a stand alone tie wrapped in the harness up there .

I just looked all over, didn't see anything but a group of wires going into the firewall there at the driver side, and those were not marked. Dunno, if you get a pic of what I am looking for it would help. But at this rate we are going to be sitting at FL all day tommorrow and probably the day after and I am getting pretty fustrated with this because it HAS to be something that KW did when they were repairing it, it worked the day BEFORE they touched it.

Well we went to the back and did a volt test, 0 charge going to the brakes. So its got absolutely got to be a fuse somewhere. But its not the fuse in the fusebox, we've replaced that one and it wasn't blown to start with.

kw w900 certain year had inline fuses for brakes on outside of firewall it will look like a 1 inch square plastic cover in line in the wire harness.

Ours is a T2000 I've been trying to find a wiring diagram with no luck, you'd think this owners manual would have it, nooo apparently only shop people have it.
