Be the pioneer and try them out. Raising a thread from the dead they must be allright if they still around. Hopefully not the same set from 2 years ago. Lol.

I saw an ad the other day for a Chinese tire brand stating "the number one import commercial tire". It just made me want to buy more than I needed to sell to friends. Seriously, number one compared to what?

I know there are people that will swear by the two Chinese drives for the change in their pockets & got 200,000 miles out of them. But thinking the biggest thing with many of those tires is that there is no consistency or standards they have to live by. You may get a couple decent tires at a fair price, but every time I have saved a nickel on tread it has cost me much more.

Samson are ok tire for Chinese, Drive tires will go around 200k maybe more I do on my fleet but we do flatbed, I like the GL671A those are the best for my Flatbed trailers best result ever for cheap on spread axle, only problem GL671A only comes on 11R22.5 or 11R24.5,
Steer stay away Bad, I put couple on my truck all go bad by 50k, spotting on all. I though in the beginning maybe shocks so on but all give the same result, do not use the steer ones the rest is fine. around $290-$310 here is Chicago.

300 bucks for a chinese tire, you'll likely pay a disposal fee, rather than get a credit on the casing when it's wore out. and will not last as long.

i just don't see the great savings over buying a decent tire.
