dashlight help!

Hey fellas...does anyone have any clue what size bulb it takes to change color in the gauges? I have a 1998 w900l and just want something a lil different other than boring ##### white. Ive passed other trucks with different color dashlights and really neat looking at night. I guess if i have to ill pull a gauge out and see what size it takes...trying to save my self the extra work. Thanks in advance
