Yes, thank you DB. Very helpful. My truck is also my home most of the time and I keep it clean and well maintained. I thought of just tinting the side windows, but if the fronts are legal at 70 percent of light passing through, I might get them done too? OR see how the sides come out first.
thank you and be safe. -

Not telling the members how to tint, but just my thoughts...
I have side windows tinted more than should be, but have never been bothered by the law. I dont tint windshield, as much as i would really like too. Still have to be able to see at nite. I can always roll down side windows when backing in at nite, but cant do much with windshield. It would be like driving with sunglasses on at night.... -
I had a two issues with tint in the last year or so...
1) a PA cop came out of the median an followed me into the scale and wrote me a ticket for having tinted windows..
2) a GA scale pulled me "around back" and wrote me a warning for the tint, he went on to say "you have been warned and you are in the computer if you come back into the state of GA with the windows tinted you will get a ticket"..
For those that want to know I use Cobra I-75 x-201 in Jackson, GA......he is expensive but very good and uses Llumar tint.. -
Ct has had a hard on for tinted windows lately, got it twice in the last 2 months in CT, once had the windows down on a nice day but he had me roll the window up and got me,my windows are between 30% to 34% depending on were you check em. the last cop let me go because i told him how much the last ticket was and he said the cop charged me to much $132 when it should have bin $94.
