Behind the plastic lower dash panel is where I'm talking.

OK, that would point you to two things. Leaking air out of quick release valve, which is the small valve at the rear axle that emergency lines from the spring brakes connect to or air leaking out foot valve exhaust on the firewall.

Do you see or feel a rubber flap on bottom of valve?

Which one..foot valve? Quick release valve?

The foot valve looks fairly tricky to get to from underneath. If I know what I was looking for on the rear of the tractor I could check that out too...

The QR valve is 3.5" in dia has a hose running off each side and one line going in the top. It is most likely a plastic valve. This valve releases your parking brakes from signal it receives from your dash valve that you replaced.

Ok. At least I can likely get to this QR valve....if I can find it. But with my luck, it probably is the foot brake valve. Not sure if I can replace that or not (on my own).....

In the AM, I will take a look at things and post back. It's storming out right now.

Thanks to all (especially bender) for all of the tips and comments...:biggrin_25514:

Checked the new bendix valve unit. Perfect. Sprayed all of the fittings on the chassis. Nothing. Checked the foot brake - soaked it. Nothing. Still hear air in the dash...

FOUND IT...but what IS it ? - this is in the dash on the firewall and looks like an aluminum manifold.. Hose #28
