A/C in the bunk is blowing warm/hot(N/OP)
Cab A/C wont cool in 90*F ambient.

Friend has 3) trucks doing the same thing and his wrench cant seem to figure it to a solution.
    Attempted bump in charge(didn't work)
Another charge using the died 134 didn't show a visible leak or change anything.

    So . . . . . .what say ya'll ?

Has anyone stuck gauges on the system before or after the charges? It may already have enough 134a, but there may be a switch acting up or the clutch could be bad. There are many things that can go wrong with a AC system and it is very hard to diagnose unless you can lay hands on it. On a safety note...I wouldn't try to charge it anymore until you can get a set of guages on it and see what the actual pressure(s) are.

You might have too much R134 in the system at this point. I agree with Pullingtrucker on checking the system pressure before going any further.

Friend's Freightshaker had A/C problem after replacing a leaky hose and vacuuming/recharging. Turned out, it was way over-charged that the pressure built up to 450 psi as soon as the clutch kicked in, and the excessive pressure cut off the clutch a moment later. Bleeding off some gas solved that particular problem.

could be a restriction somewhere, expansion valve in bunk, orifice tube for cab, or blockage in condensor. has there been any recent work or parts changed?

Could be a plugged up a/c condenser...

again people these are Pete's,not shakers or KW's.
The Pete system isn't the same in all trucks,I haven't heard back from the guy in acouple days.Talked to one of his hands and his truck's A/C still isn't working.I find it strange all three trucks are doing the same thing at the same time . . . . . ?

    I agree on the Expansion/Orifice R/R

Regardless of the brand, the principles of refrigeration are the same... my Pete has Freightshaker drier and compressor part numbers because they interchange.... just don't spread that around!

I recently had the same problem. I had too much freon and it blew out my compressor. The orifice tube was clogged and then after all that was fixed the expansion valves went out... Gotta check all the above, Like stated in above posts
