I've got a 2000 Freightliner with a 3126 CAT engine. I basically drove it home and it will not start now. ran the codes they are 74, 73, 72, 15, 39. Is there a place where I can find some diagnostic help? Thanks in advance. Oh also the oil has been changed 3 days before I brought it home with 15W40 Chevron Delo 400.

That's what I saw for the trouble codes list I have, but it doesn't have the 3126 on the list of engines it's for. It doesn't show a code 39 at all, as an example. Sorry I'm no help, maybe someone that knows what they're talking about will come along sooner or later.

Code 39 - Injector actuation pressure system fault
Code 15- Injector actuation pressure sensor erratic/short/open
Codes 72,73,74 injector current codes for all injector pairs.
Hard to say what is causing this, if all those codes are active you may have a fauty ECM, have you been welding on the truck? If those codes are logged you may have a faulty IAP control valve.

Hello! This is common problem for all 3126. There are many 3126 in Russia on LIAZ buses and all they gon into the trouble at least once after oil change. There are oil actuated injectors in this engine and this engine ise very sensetive to oil quality and sometimes require oil system preoiling.

So look for oiling system problems.....

well, they got many buses with 3126 Euro-III, but the problem was so major that they did engine swap with 3106 (Euro-II).

It was the ECM, I hadn't done any welding but the alternator did go out 2-3 weeks ago. Not sure if that caused it. But that's what it needed thanks for all the help. I appreciate it.

Cat ECM is VERY difficult to disassembly!

It is very reliable but may be damaged with overvoltage
