No matter how I insure it, I would never get back what I have into it..I know that for sure
EDIT: Just called Progressive and upped the 'stated' value of the rig. Premium jumped but I think it was under-valued in the 1st
place anyways...At least now, I have some breathing room and $243 less in my pocket (and that was a pro-rated increase)...Last edited: Oct 19, 2010

JD
I dont know what kind of wagon you plan to pull
But if is its a flat, one of those collapsible ladders works well for tarps and other stuff
The one I have folds into a 48longx14wide x 6thick. When unfolded it will reach 11
I use it to hang high chains
I think it was about 70 bucks at Home dopo or LowesHanadarko Thanks this. -

By the way...if anyone is utterly curious....
The OEM KW Grakon 5000 light is a "P54-1028" and lists for $112.38 each.
My discounted cost was $70.15 per light from the KWhopper dealer.
Hell with that- -
Well this just got ugly fast...
Not one of the screws will budge. Odd part is they are S/S with nylocks but nothing is corroded - not even slightly.
Then, I realized that the entire unit is mounted to a few flat stock alum pieces which appear to be conveniently RIVETED to the sleeper roof.
I guess I will need to use the Dremel tool and grind these nuts off at least to get the shield off. Not sure of the rest.
Maybe I might dismantle the inside and then take it to a body shop for the rest.
Major disappointment here - but thats as usual...
I found an old birds nest inside the bird banger - how ironic. -
I'd cut the heads off the bolts (strange they're so stuck) remove the thing and call it good. You go taking off riveted mounting strips and such, I think you'd be inviting a place for water to enter by opening the rivet holes.
But what the heck to I know.... I drive a Pete -
I can put small nuts/bolts and seal them - I am ok with that part of it.
I got an idea here....
Maybe once I drop the headliner, I can buzz off the inside rivet parts and if I do that for all of the mounted flat stock on the roof (that the shield is mounted to) down comes the shield and the flat stock all-in-one....Instead of grinding off the bolts and THEN the rivets...maybe..
Still need to plug the roof once I am done of course.Last edited: Oct 21, 2010

KW and their Huck Bilts. They really SUCK the big one. Think of Case Harderend Rivits that require a torch or Diamond drill to remove. That is what they use to mount anything to the Body.

That might be a decent plan JD. In fact, probably your best alternative. Wish I was around to give you a hand.
Hanadarko Thanks this.
