:laughing3::laughing3::laughing3::laughing3::laughing3: That's funny right there! They handed me a set of keys and the permit book and said it's parked outside.

Well, I guess since I haven't had to add any fluid to it and there isn't a light or guage next to the fuel guage, guess I don't need to worry about that.

So now I guess I need to talk with my DM about scheduling a time to get the truck into the shop for this service. I hate being in the shop because then I'm not making any money. But it's gonna beat being broke down on the side of the road.

It is funny isn't it? I sort of forgot what being a company driver is like and not really knowing your truck too well.

For their sake I hope they get it in before it completely kaks on you. The downtime and towing will be longer and cost loads more than just a simple cleaning now.

    Yep, pretty funny... :biggrin_2554:

So now I'm wondering how much time I have. This has been going on for just about a week and a half or so. But it hasn't been real consistant. The lights don't come on every day, and a couple times when they have come on, they have eventually gone out on their own. Once, I did the manual parked regen in the morning, then 10 hours later the lights came on again, but that was the only time that has happened.

And it always starts the same, first the check engine light comes on, then maybe an hour or so later, the regen light comes on steady, then it will eventually start flashing. Does this mean I'm in trouble?

Talk to a mechanic about a "Delta P". It's a pressure sensor fed by two small lines off the exhaust. The
lines get carbon deposits in them and plug up, giving a false pressure reading and triggering the regen
light. I had it done on my 2010 Freightliner Century and haven't had to regen it since. The light only
comes on to tell me it is doing an automatic regen when I slow way down. Beforehand, I was having to
regen it increasingly often. My miles per gallon we're dropping. It was also stalling. They replace the
    sensor and the lines.

that is right this sensor reads the pressure difference between the front and back of dpf. Someone with dddl needs to hook up to see your soot load on the dpf. Also to see if your delta p sensor is reading right good luck.
