    I see, Makes sense as engines always prefer cooler more dense intake air supplies. And as a bonus "if they are water tight" you are already rigged for deep water fording!! :biggrin_2559:.

    Come to the Truck show in brickerville, Pa. The show is basically a Mack show, it's not the biggest show around but you are guaranteed to see some cool old cabover Mack's and a bunch of old superliners. I will try and get this years date for any of you that are interested.

    This is the Lone Ranger going up the toowoomba range out past Brisbane in Australia, it is a big mountain takes over 30 min to climb it

    Alright I'll bite at this 6 year old thread.

    Anyone remember the Freedom Edition Superliner? Made for the Centennial of the Statue of Liberty.
    I remember seeing a few back in the 80s. I heard they came with the 500 V8 in them.
    I just about had an orgasm first time I saw one since I was a trashy R-model trash hauler back then.
    Somehow the only photos I can find of them are ones that made their way to Europe.
    Rarer than Hen's teeth over here anymore.
