Who use Car DVRs in trucks?
Becouse w/o video it is not easy to descibe what a hell's going on.
I wanna try.
Just an example of damaged with car steering linkage and what happend after first collision.

That's really cool!! They were advertising video recording systems in Canada a few years ago. They had cams looking forward and down the passenger side.
They said it really helped in court.

I did test in truck driving around yard. Yeah, I cant read licensie plates of other vehicles, but, really, it would help for owner, insuarance company, ore in court.
The next step - system with Flash SATA drives, hidden in truck and four cameras system, one camera will be HD
