Older black with a gray roof 63'' flattop pete sleeper with minimal insulation. Haven't used the a/c in hot weather but is was pretty warm in south Texas and it cooled great. The heat works good. I have notice a few times that the batteries were real low and it ran for a while before the voltage was back up to 14v. I threw my alt belts last month and just fired up the apu and went on. I really am very happy with the unit.

T/K uses xantrex inverters just get a 4-5000 watt inverter, but that will make the unit cycle more to keep the batteries up. T/K also has an "artic package" that will monitor and warm the coolant to keep it @ a set temp.

I put this on another thread, but I see this is going the same way... The HP2000 uses a lot less fuel than that. From everything I've seen and heard, it's the way to go. I hadn't seen one till this recent truck show... very nice unit.

Consider a Volkswagen diesel muffler. Small and quiet. Dont put on a gas engine muffler or it will plug really fast. Been there done that.
