ISMe opinions.... who drive?

    There are buses and Trucktors with ISMe appeared on our market now. They are usually Euro-III (no SCR and EGR) and Euro-V emission level (with SCR). I use to do diagnstics and as I can see this is really porblem free motor. Very simple fuel system like on Select plus...

    I wanna know your opinions, gentelmen!

    Euro-III are w/o filter... But for driving in European "Green zones" E4-E5 trucktors are allowed...

    Can ISMe be upgrade to higher HP then the 411HP. The US ISM can go to higher HP. I tried a US ISM ecm on a ISMe engine and truck would surge on idle. Any idea ISMe CPL 2830

    I did not try to upgrade ISM. It is generally used on underpowered trucktors and on buses. KAMAZ also use ISL on trucktors, but really ISL is gutless engine for 8 class truck.
    In Russia E3 standard is used so versions w/o DEF and SCR are popular.
